Singin' in the Rain

It has been very rainy for the winter in my new home. One of my favorite movies is Singin' in the Rain.

I had based it on these iconic images. 

Those gray suits, that cute red umbrella .

Solar Power and the red is OPI The Spy Who loved me.

For the umbrella I used some cute little stamps and some labels to use as a stencil.

I hope to get more cute little stamps soon. I believe I got these at Michaels.

Good to be back but I'm looking for work and still getting the house in order .

So I decided the night before to do my nails for the occasion.

Halloween post: NMBC!

One of my favorite movies EVER is Nightmare before Christmas. I love all the songs, have a ton of that juicy merch and have designed some spiffy nail art just for Halloween!

I did the main characters really.

Jack, Sally, blank that was supposed to be burlap sack oogie but.... and oogie on the moon.

Barrel, the hill, Jack, Sally

Mayor sad face, Mayor happy face, Lock, shock and barrel!

I had fun doing these!

especially sally and the mayor.  I love details. 

Barrel is lopsided but its the design that counts! 

I was thinking of pre-painting these onto fake nails and selling them? or something like that. 

I know i have NMBC fake nail stickers I can use for Halloween, I got it from Claires last year I believe. super cute. Almost dun wanna use it though xD

maybe they'll have them again this year!

I had to do some mixing for some of these.

China Glaze Gothic Lolita, White on White, Blue Year's Eve

Sinful colors black on black, Amethyst

Starfire:

I put china glaze breakin as a skin base and then solar powered while wet til it mixed to get a lighter orange. 

Then mixed Breakin and OPI Big apple red for her hair color. 

Sinful black on black, china glaze white on white and sinful colors Irish green.

Robin is simply 

China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, white on white and sinful colors black on black.

cyborg is

OPI ogre the top blue, big apple red

China Glaze Brownstone, white on white

Beast boy is a mix of 

China Glaze west side warrior and opi mermaids tears for the skin

China glaze white on white, west side warrior for eyes and hair.

what I remember most when watching this series was another series they showed at the same time,

they were so cute and did the Theme song for Teen titans. the style doesn't translate well to nail but... you can still tell yea?

Working on some Batman designs and love how they came out . Even the weird black and white one.

His suits both with different colored flowers. I need the coat line to be somewhere between what those both are. and then a purple I tested for it.

Little mini tut! Joker Jacket

Easy peasy! for the joker jacket I painted Sage in the city, about two coats, then add purple leaving a green triangle for his shirt (which can also be orange if you prefer I use the animated series for reference), Add a cute little bow on top for his neck. I then use black to add lines for his lapel and buttons. Then pink or yellow for his acid flower.
